Lilian Tschan
Permanent State Secretary in the Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs
A graduate in Public Administration, she initially worked as a political communications manager at the Berlin office of Serco GmbH before moving into politics in 2007. From 2011 to 2014, she was a representative of the state government of the Land Baden-Württemberg in Berlin, before becoming Head of the Cabinet and Parliamentary Division at the at the Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth. From 2018 to 2022, she was Head of Political Staff of Federal Minister Hubertus Heil at the Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs and has been Permanent State Secretary in the Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs since February 2022.
