Dr Anne von Oswald

Dr. Anne von Oswald, historian and social scientist, first became interested in the topic of migration through her studies in Italy and her research work on Italian migrant workers in Germany in the 1960s and 1970s. As head of department and project manager at Minor Projektkontor für Bildung und Forschung, she carries out studies and (citizen science) projects in historical and political education on the subject of (forced) migration and exile. Anne von Oswald also works intensively on the topic of European immigration societies and human rights and citizenship. She is co-founder of the We Refugees Archive on flight and exile in the past and present at Minor Projektkontor.
