Policy officer and legal counsellor at Payoke – NGO against trafficking and exploitation of human beings, Belgium

Frederik Dejonghe works as a legal counselor and policy officer at Payoke, a center for victims of human trafficking. He started working at Payoke in 2019 with a focus on loverboy problems. As of 2021, this scope broadened to include economic exploitation as well. In 2022, Payoke was involved in a significant case regarding economic exploitation in Belgium(“Borealis”), which posed substantial challenges for both the legal system and his organization.
